Marc Jacobs | Spring 2018 RTW

Hey guys!

So we thought we would do a little post on the Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 RTW! So if you want to find out what our thoughts were and our favourite pieces, keep scrolling!

So Marc Jacob’s inspiration for this collection, were to recreate pieces from his archive except with great exaggeration and decadence which explains the retro flowers, and bright colour palette. The turbans worn by all the models were inspired by his muses Sofia Coppola and Kate Moss who actually wore a golden one to the 2012 Met Gala.

Overall, some pieces for us were a bit too overly retro for our liking but others we really loved. We really loved how he paired certain looks with fanny packs and the workwear element he added to some of the outfits. We also liked the vibe of the whole collection that although filled with bright colours, had a darker mood to it. So without further ado, our favourite pieces!
