Benefit Cosmetics | Boi-ing Industrial strength concealer

Hello guys,

Today we will be continuing our 4 part Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing concealer reviews. Our first Boi-ing concealer review was on the Boi-ing Airbrush concealer which you can read here (–> click me <–) and that was a sheer-medium coverage concealer so this time we thought we would do a full coverage.

So if you want to know what we thought about it, then please keep on scrolling!!

There is actually two full coverage concealers in the collection but we both agree that this one seems to be heavier/stronger. Out of the four concealers this one is definitely the driest and most problematic concealer for us. Even though it is a cream formula, it was somewhat hard to blend out smoothly simply because it is so thick. The thickness is definitely because it is a FULL coverage concealer but we personally don’t like how it feels on our skin. If you were just simply going to cover your blemishes then we think that this isn’t too bad as it does a really good job and a little goes a long way. However if you are considering using this for your dark circles then maybe reconsider. It definitely will cover your dark circles, however because normally there are fine lines around your eyes are your eye creases when you smile and all of that will show up if you use this concealer.

Now we’re pretty sure that everyone will agree that that’s not cute.

The other problem we experienced with this concealer is that it is SO matte and thick that it actually shows more skin flaws than it covers. It definitely fixes your skins pigmentation and discolouring (i.e. dark circles, blemishes, etc) however if your skin is even remotely dry then even the smallest crack will show up. Sometimes immediately, sometimes after an hour or two and since it is winter here in Australia this is definitely a problem for us.

However, if you have oily skin then this product is definitely worth a shot. It might be a little more difficult to blend out for us simply because our skin is a bit dry at the moment. So you definitely have to consider your own skin type and in this case, the weather.

The other thing we have to mention is the packaging. The idea of it is actually the same as the airbrush concealer however because this one is a lot drier in comparison we actually feel like it may dry up faster in the long run. Now there isn’t actually any other way to package a concealer this thick because if it was in a tube then you would probably waste a lot of product that is stuck to the side and bottom of the tube so realistically speaking this is actually the best way to package it. But this is just another opinion of ours.

Okay guys this is all for now. If you have any questions related to this product feel free to leave a comment below or if you simply want to share with us your opinions on these then also feel free to leave a comment down below.

Out of the two, airbrush and industrial, which concealer do you prefer more?
