Today we thought we would start out 4 part Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing concealer reviews. Initially we were just going to test them out and either do one HUGE review on all four or just pick our favourite and just have the one post. However after playing around with them we thought that it would be better to do a separate post on each and every one of them to really list out the pros and cons and hopefully be able to guide or help some people out.
So if you are interested about the Boi-ing airbrush concealer, then please keep on reading.
Out of the four concealers, this one is definitely our favourite for several reasons. It starts off as a sheer coverage concealer which is ideal for days where you don’t want to wear a lot of makeup or if you just wanted to quickly cover some small imperfections but still seem natural. However, this can also be built up to a medium coverage which is quite ideal for under eye circles (at least for us). The distinction between this one and other concealers out there that offer sheer to medium or medium to full coverage is that this one doesn’t start looking cakey or heavy feeling. You probably have all experienced something along those lines where you wanted a little bit more coverage but ended up looking like you dumped the whole bottle on your face. Luckily with this product we haven’t had any instances like that yet and hopefully we never will.
Now because this is a sheer to medium coverage concealer we really can’t say that it covers EVERYTHING. So if you are someone who likes really full coverage concealers then probably just skip on this one and head straight for the full coverage options. However for us this is definitely the most ideal concealer for most days.
The staying power was hard to test because we normally wear this with foundation and for the past couple of weeks we both reverted back to the Estée Lauder’s Double Wear foundation so it was really hard to decide if it was good or not. But we didn’t have any issues with creasing or just the entire concealer rubbing off so if that’s the case then shouldn’t it be considered good? If we really had to pick a problem it would be the limited shades. Nothing wrong with the formula, we adore the packaging we just wish that there’s more shades. Come on, 3 shades IS really limited. Right?
As we mentioned before this one is our favourite but do not worry we will be reviewing the other 3 so please keep an eye out!!!!!
