GIVENCHY | Highlighter Mémoire De Forme Strobing Pop-up Jelly Highlighter

Hey guys!

So today we thought we would do a post on a new Givenchy item which is coming out in Australia very soon! So basically, it’s a new gel formula highlighter which is supposed to give you a radiant, healthy-glow! So in Australia, the testers for this item is actually out already so we were able to actually go in store and try it out (which we did a few times hehe) however, Sephora hasn’t received stock of the item yet so we can’t actually physically buy it YET which is quite a let down!

So this highlighter is a very different texture from usual stick or powder highlighters as it’s actually in a pot and actually feels like jelly! So apparently, this highlighter actually contains 72 percent water which we think is great due to the weather change recently which is making our skin super dry! It’s also really light pink tone to it making it very versatile and great for a everyday natural look! Although when first applied, it is very subtle, it is very build-able due to the soft shimmers in this highlighter to give a stronger look.

As it is of a more liquid formula, we would recommend setting it with a light powder as we found that the staying power is not great and that it does tend to wear off if not maintained well. We do however, love how easy it is to apply with fingers and if applied on top of a blush, it gives a very lovely dewy glow to your cheeks! Although it might not exactly be a an essential buy, we would say it is always nice to have as an alternative for the dry winters (especially in Australia) and or if you are like us, better to buy now than regret never having bought it as it is a limited product! But we would definitely recommend checking it out as we ourselves were super surprised by the texture of the product itself!

We hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you did, please feel free to check out our previous posts below!
