So today, we thought we’d do a post on a new favourite lipstick of ours from a brand we don’t usually talk about! So, as you can probably guess from the title of this post, it will be on the new 2017 lipsticks from the Givenchy Rouge Interdit range! We were at Sephora the other day and just happened upon them!! It was love at first sight!!!
So these new lipsticks from Givenchy are actually absolutely divine! They apply on like a lipstick but gives a plump, shiny and hydrated look! After leaving it on a for a while, the lipstick melts into your lips to give a naturally stained lip look and leaves your lips feeling so soft and hydrated!! The pigment of the lipstick is quite good as well and is very buildable so that one layer gives you a tint-like look but after built up, is more of a glossy lipstick. Even after a couple of hours, the lipstick fades but leaves a lovely stain of colour.
The packaging, just like all Givenchy packaging is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We love the fact that it comes in a laquered black tube with a ribbon on it which not only gives adds to the Givenchy look but also makes it very convenient to hold or to take the actual lipstick out of the tube! The size of the lipstick is actually a really convenient size. It’s slightly slimmer than the regular “Le Rouge Givenchy” lipsticks and slightly larger than the ” Le Rouge-À-Porter” lipsticks.
After doing some research on them, we found out that they include black rose oil which provides nutrition and are what gives your lips that moisture after applying them. It also contains oils of utrafine which are micro-oils that provide comfort and ease of application and gives your lips the feel of a second skin when applied. The AbsoluteColor Complex contains micronized pigments and liquid biron which is composed of highly reflective crystals which accentuate the depth and brightness of each shade. Currently, the lipstick comes in 24 shades with one limited edition shade and we do highly recommend trying them out as they are just so moisturising and comfortable to wear!
We hope you guys enjoyed this post, and if you did, please feel free to check out our previous posts below!
