Today we have another perfume post and it will be on the absolutely divine Silver Mountain Water by Creed launched in 1995. This scent is unisex however when you first smell it it will seem more masculine than feminine but if worn properly, can still pass for a female scent. The scent is inspired by Olivier Creed’s love for skiing so it is both mixed and designed to capture the crispness of mountain air and sparkling streams of water in the alpine streams. The packaging is a very simple frosted glass bottle meaning to symbolize snow and a silver cap to represent a silver stream.
The fragrance opens up with Bergamot and Mandarin being the top note followed by a very fresh green tea and black currant middle note and with a base consisting of galbanum, musk, sandalwood and petit grain.
The perfume itself is not cheap as a 75ml is US$305 and a 120ml is US$370 (it also comes in a 30ml, 250ml and 500ml) so if you do decide to invest in a Creed perfume it is definitely best to just go and smell them all just so you really do buy the one you really like.
So the Silver Mountain Water is actually a favourite amongst clients, even celebrities and personally I think normally there are more male clients so I was a little skeptical at first but after thinking about it for a while I just couldn’t let it go. So I got it….. BUT it has proven to be the right choice as everything I spray it my mood instantly calms down and you don’t need much of it especially if you are female as it is very overpowering when sprayed too much so normally I only spray it twice and only on my clothes as that way I find it to be just a little softer. The longevity of the perfume is insane and definitely one of the best but I wouldn’t say that the fragrance lingers very far especially after a couple of hours.
Overall this perfume really is one of my all time favourites and even though I haven’t had it for that long yet, but every time I spray it, I am once again reminded of just why I bought it so I think I definitely will be keeping this scent around the house.
Alright, so this is all for today, hope you guys enjoyed the post and do let us know if you own this scent or if you own a different Creed scent in which you absolutely love as we would love to know (and we are seriously addicted to Creed right now).
