So after a cosmopolitan (since we’ve both been watching too much of Sex and the City) and a glass of beer at The Star, Vivian and I found our way to the Vogue Fashion Night Out. While sipping on cheap champagne at David Jones, we found our tipsy selves buying a whole lotta stuff (Note to self: never go shopping drunk or you will probably regret it) but luckily we sobered up a bit towards the end otherwise the list would’ve been ALOT longer……IMG_3107

So our first stop: Culture Kings (cause we were feeling street style)

I ended up getting two shirts, the first is a Crooks & Castles (cause I love their stuff) and the second is from Billionaire Boys Club

And Vivian got a pair of Nike Air Force 1s mid because how can you pass on these?!

Then, all of a sudden, I decided that I wanted a pair of navy blue low cut converses so we went across to Hype DC. I mean they’re so versatile, why not?

Next stop: Apple Store

We have both wanted to get the Olloclip 4-IN-1 Lens for a while now and what better time than now? Also, naturally, I went for the black whilst Vivian went for the white. So predictable right?

Afterwards, we FINALLY made it to the Chanel makeup studio in Myer where we went pretty hard with the makeup; we both got the Beaute Des Cils which is a nourishing mascara base (which I recommend to everyone, yes everyone), as well as the Stylo Yeux Waterproof in shade #921 Pomme de Pin which is a crayon eye pencil and glides on just so smoothly that sometimes you can’t even tell if you actually applied it or not.

No way were we done just there, we then went for lipsticks from the Rouge Allure Velvet range and they literally are the prettiest matte lipsticks to ever exist and the lasting power is beyond words. I opted for shade #34 La Raffinee and #38 La Fascinante; the first one is more of an everyday colour which will be perfect for spring whilst not being to bright or eye catching whilst the second is a deep gorgeous red which reminded us of Snow White as it’s just a pure red (more on the dark side) with no coral undertones. Vivian went for shade #43 which is the La Favorite and it’s just this really cute bright corally pink (more on the coral side) which she just loved and didn’t think for an extra second.

No this isn’t the end of Chanel yet as Vivian also got the CC cream in shade 10 Beige which is definitely the best CC cream out there. It’s definitely one of the lighter CC creams out there but the coverage is also decent which then gives out a really natural colour. Also, if any of you guys are wanting a paler or brighter complexion this is definitely the way to go since it is part of their whitening range.

Afterwards, the only other thing we got (other than refreshments) was a morning face wash from Origins (Mecca). Vivian bought the Never a Dull Moment cleanser to use in the morning because she absolutely loved it after trying out a sample and definitely has a nice fresh scent for the mornings whilst not being over stripping.

Alright, now this is finally the end of this haul and the rest of the night really was just spent on walking around, finding refreshment stands and trying to get a hold of a taxi that wasn’t pre-booked or full. We definitely needed that and let me just say it was very satisfying, it was such a nice break from work and studying.

Did any of you guys also go to the VFNO?
